Resources and Benefit Reminders/Changes

Cascade Centers

Support is available for you and eligible family members through Cascade Centers, CIS’ employee assistance program partner. This program is available to employees, and eligible family members, covered by a CIS medical plan*. There are multiple ways to access Cascade Centers’ resources:

  • Call 800-433-2320

  • Text 503-980-1777

  • Go to www.cascadecenters.com; Click “Member Log-In” and register as a new user (for the company name enter: CIS)

If you get laid off or put on furlough, EAP services are good for three months after losing eligibility.

*If you are not covered by a CIS medical plan, you may still be eligible to access EAP services if your employer notified you of additional coverage they purchased on your behalf.

Regence Members

Regence members can find ongoing COVID-19 updates on the Regence website (www.regence.com). In addition to the website resources, we want you to be aware of current and new benefits available to you and your family during this challenging time. Please note, some of these benefits may change once the declared public health emergency ends.

  • COVID-19 testing and related office/facility visit costs will be covered at 100% - even for those on a High Deductible Health Plan.

  • MDLIVE: Telehealth services are available through MDLIVE. CIS pays the office visit copay on behalf of members accessing services through these providers due to the reduced visit charges. For members on a High Deductible Health Plan, the reduce visit charge is applied to the deductible. Employees can access MDLIVE through their Regence online account at www.regence.com.

  • New Telehealth Visits: For Regence participating providers that have the capability, coverage is now available for telehealth services. This means you can have office visits with your provider via telephone subject to applicable copays/deductibles.

  • Expanded telehealth services will be temporarily covered during Oregon’s state of emergency. For Regence participating providers that have the capability, virtual visits will be available. Regular plan benefits apply meaning members will pay their applicable copays/deductibles and members must receive required prior authorization.

Kaiser Members

Kaiser members can find ongoing Coronavirus updates on the Kaiser website. Members may also utilize a virtual assessment feature on kp.org to complete a brief assessment for COVID-19 exposure and symptoms. Follow-up instructions will be provided based on responses to the assessment. In addition to the website resources, we want you to be aware of current and new benefits available to you and your family during this challenging time. Please note, some of these benefits may change once the declared public health emergency ends.

  • Coronavirus testing and related visit costs will be covered at 100% - even for those on a High Deductible Health Plan.

  • Telehealth services: Telehealth services include nurse advice line, emailing provider non-urgent questions, video visits using a computer, smartphone or tablet, E-visit and telephone visits. Telehealth services are available with no member cost-share.

  • E-Visits:  E-visits (powered by SmartExam) allow members to complete an online questionnaire and a registered Kaiser nurse will call or email you to provide helpful guidance and recommendations for treatment or help order necessary prescriptions. E-visits are available with no member cost share.

ASIFlex – Healthcare FSA Participants

The Coronavirus relief package (CARES Act) passed by Congress included some enhancements for Healthcare FSAs. Effective January 1, 2020, over-the-counter drugs and medicines are again considered eligible tax-free expenses for reimbursement from a healthcare FSA. In addition, menstrual care products are also new eligible expenses. You can get more information on these changes on the ASIFlex website at www.asiflex.com.
